We meticulously follow OTDR (Optical Time Domain Reflectometer) manufacturer's instruction, typically testing fibre systems using a stabilised light source and power meter, which send electrical pulses into the fibre, providing a trace of each fibre core. This provides a unique characteristic trace of each fibre core, locating any faults such as breaks or optical return loss.
