Conventional Fibre
Fibre performs to an exceptionally high criterion to accommodate toward today's great bandwidth demands. INS Sudlows can promise that performance and cost will be in no way compromised.
What applications is it ideal for?
Conventional Fibre is perfect for lower budget telecommunication applications; it provides a prompt and practical initial installation solution to your infrastructure brief, as well as being environmentally-friendly compared to its copper equivalent.
How is it installed?
For an easy installation process, the tubes are fitted with a specialist optical fibre connector, which can simply be connected or disconnected from transmitting equipment. Moreover, Conventional Fibre can be installed up to a length of approximately 340km without regeneration.
Did you know that the current fibre technology is capable of transmitting over 600,000 simultaneous telephone conversations through one single optical fibre?
To prevent light leakage over this distance (which causes data, flare in fibre bundles and alien crosstalk or interference) there are layers of light absorbing, low refracting cladding between the tubing. This encloses the fibre core, confining the light to the centre of the fibre, therefore ensuring internal reflection.
